Later on Tuesday evening. The match had 8 full teams of 8 firers and a half team from the West Indies. Course of fire was 10 shots at 300, 500 and 600 yards. Normally, this would occupy a full three and half hours, but tonight, given the late start (5:45 pm), and the approaching shades of night, it had to be finished in somewhat less than three hours. Shooters and coaches therefore could not dawdle. The Canadian Team had its problems, especially on one of our two targets at 300yds. However, it was a valuable learning exercise for shooters and the two coaches.

Tomorrow is the annual match with the RAF for the CanAir Trophy.
